Baby Shower

Good morning, I wanted to send you an e-mail in regards to the exceptional help, assistance and guidance of one of your employees with planning a baby shower which is the main reason we selected Big Rock Chophouse as our event location. Katie Kucher has helped in making the decision easy with her extremely prompt and knowledgeable responses. She answered my numerous questions, provided her recommendations as to which room would be appropriate and best suited for a baby shower and waived the room rental fee as we can guarantee 50 or more guests, she also held the date for me while I confirmed with the baby shower hostesses. It’s been quite the task finding the perfect baby shower location and it was so easy and enjoyable with Katie’s help!

Please extend my sincere thanks to the owners and staff for a FABULOUS 2nd annual party! Big Rock really went all the way. The food was even better than last year...especially the desserts. It was also fun to see Norm at the tables...it looked like he was having as much (or more) fun as his guests. In these difficult economic times, this frequent diner really appreciates the efforts of the Big Rock staff/owners who continue to show their appreciation of their customers. I was there last night for another fine meal on the patio...I enjoyed the chef's special - pan-seared turbot - YUMMY.

Unfortunately, I didn't get our waitress's name, the receipt says the server was Liljana we were at table #902/1 according to the receipt. I would really appreciate it, if you would make sure to forward this email to her as well. The entire evening was perfect. The food, service and atmosphere was outstanding! Big Rock is a quality restaurant. The money I spent for the event was well worth it. Thanks again for making this event a very special memory for my family.

Thank you so much for all your help.  The shower was wonderful. Everything was perfect, from our first moment with the valet to the very end. The food was great and the the room was all set up when we arrived. Brandon and Jeff couldn't have been nicer. They even helped us carry everything in, and out, and it was a lot. They were polite and attentive to each and every guest. They were so professional. I don't think anyone had to ask twice for anything the whole afternoon. They were even  great with our little girls. All the guests were impressed with them and Big Rock. What a great experience. Thanks to all of you! Jen, is the bride in the aqua and Jamie in black, is the Maid of Honor. I will whole-heartedly recommend Big Rock to all my friends and clients.

American Axle & Manufacturing Holiday Dinner

I don’t know where to begin about telling you how exceptional our event at Big Rock Chop House was. All of the staff, including the valet who carried boxes in for me, provided excellent service. The food was great and the wait staff & bartender service was outstanding!  Jonathan was terrific making sure all of our needs and requests were met promptly and professionally. We were well taken of from the time we entered the parking lot until the time we left the parking lot.
 
I’ve received many wonderful comments from our American Axle staff who attended the event.

I just wanted to tell you how absolutely wonderful everything was Saturday night!  EVERYTHING was perfect....the food, the service, the gorgeous room....we could not have asked for more.  All of our out of town guests (as well as those from in town) said that they have never been to a more beautiful venue and we could not agree more.  Laurie, we truly appreciate all of your efforts to make the evening run smoothly and seamlessly and we thank you so much!  I know Mark sent you an email regarding a question about the liquor bill as well as information as to where to send something to you, so please let us know.  Again, we cannot thank you enough.  We loved everything!!!!  Please extend our thanks to the entire staff .... everyone was fantastic!

Bridal Shower

Laurie,

Just wanted to send you a short note to let you know how pleased i was with my daughter’s bridal shower on sat. Sept. 13. Besides dealing with monsoon weather and traffic everybody enjoyed themselves immensely. The valet guys were fabulous in helping everyone with their gifts and getting them to the door with as little discomfort as possible. They also helped us load the cars with the gifts after the shower was over.

Mitchell and the waitstafff were fabulous. The service as well as the food was totally outstanding!!! I enjoyed myself because i knew everybody was doing their job!!

Please let your staff know that everything was greatly appreciated and you will probably be seeing some of us in the near future for other events.

Sazerac Company / Rain Vodka Cocktail Party

I wanted to write and thank you for the excellent service you and your staff provided for our Rain Vodka cocktail party last night.
 
The group was very impressed and really enjoyed the food. Definitely top-notch!
 
I know that there were some sample bottles left over at the end of the night.
 
If it’s okay with Vera, I would like for you to hang to them and put them up behind the bars, have the bartenders play with them and offer them to customers. If you sell through them, they can be re-ordered through National Wine and Spirits.
 
I will also help make them disappear, as I do frequent the restaurant / lounge a couple times a month with friends. It’s nice to be able to drink my products when I go out and offer them to friends.
 
Again, thank you for everything… I will definitely use your services in the future for other events.

Sharon, Jen and "Lucky" Miller

"Several weeks ago, I was contacted by Jason Peltier the event planner for The Big Rock Chophouse in Birmingham, Michigan.

They were catering a Mexican themed birthday party on Saturday, May 31 for 100 guests and asked if we would be interested in having a TPDR donkey attend the event. As this presented us with the opportunity for additional support for our rescued longears we decided to have a go at it. Besides, it sounded like fun!

Jen Engstrom and myself along with AKA Lucky Miller (standing in for TPDR Jeffrey) attended the party in Commerce Twp. Michigan and had a grand time. Lucky was a big hit, and made many new friends for donkeys everywhere. Most of the guests had no idea that there was a need for a donkey rescue, or that such organizations even existed.

Jason and the crew from Big Rock Chophouse were a pleasure to work with.They took excellent care of Jen and myself---the food was great!

They frequently asked if there was anything we needed, or if they could bring Lucky some water. They even escorted us safely to and from our trailer. What nice people to work with.
